Video: Karapetyan Responds to Claims of Ties with FSB
The Insider has published a report indicating that in 1999, when Samvel Karapetyan wanted to obtain a Russian passport, his application listed the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB) as his workplace.
In response to the publication, a Factor TV journalist confronted Karapetyan outside the courthouse, asking, "How do you comment on this publication?" According to the President of 'Strong Armenia', the report is the work of Nikol Pashinyan.
When asked if he has ever had any connection with the FSB, Karapetyan replied, "I did not receive my passport in 1999; I obtained it in 1993-1994, so I have nothing to comment on. If anyone in our country has ties with the FSB, it’s only Nikol Pashinyan; no one else has connections with the FSB… Don't make a big deal out of it; what else can I say? I’m telling you a secret: You should go ask him. He will soon be promoted to sergeant."
