Beware of Miscalculations: We Will Force Them to Surrender, Iran Responds to the US

The military advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader, Mohsen Rezaei, has announced that Tehran will force Washington to retreat. He made this statement on the X social media platform.

“He sets a deadline for military strikes, only to cancel it with the vain hope of forcing the Iranian people and officials to surrender. The iron fist of a powerful armed force and the great Iranian nation will compel them to retreat and surrender,” Rezaei wrote on X.

In turn, Major General Ali Abdollahian, commander of the Iranian Armed Forces' Central Headquarters, warned the US and its allies to avoid another “strategic mistake or miscalculation.” He noted that the Iranian armed forces are now more prepared and stronger than in the past and are ready to respond to any aggression.

Abdollahian cautioned that any further errors would result in a much stronger response than before.

The Iranian officials’ comments came after US President Donald Trump announced that he had postponed military strikes against Iran, initially scheduled for May 19, at the request of Gulf allies.
