Video: Those Deprived of Driver's Licenses Will Again Drive Without Exams, Promises Pashinyan
Nikol Pashinyan, who is conducting a campaign, met with citizens deprived of their driving licenses in Republic Square, who have been staging protests for a considerable time demanding amnesty.
During the meeting, Pashinyan made a pre-election promise to restore driver's licenses under certain conditions. "We propose that first, there be no option for restoring licenses for one year after deprivation. Those whose year has already expired will have the opportunity to restore their licenses without an exam. The restored driver will receive not 13 points, but 6 points. If within one year the driver is not deprived of their license again, they will return to the normal full regime, that is, to 13 points. If for some reasons those 13 points become zero, there will be no other option but to take the exam," Pashinyan stated.
According to him, the issue will be put to public discussion to gain support so that it can be implemented in a short time frame. The attendees began chanting, "Nikol, Prime Minister." Pashinyan responded, "No drinking allowed."
