VIDEO: Driver Who Tied Dog to Car and Demonstrated Cruelty Identified and Arrested

Auroranews.am received a video yesterday from listeners, provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The video shows a driver operating a vehicle with a dog tied to it.

The department indicated in a conversation with us that they would respond to the incident promptly. It is worth noting that the Ministry of Internal Affairs issued a statement stating, “On May 11, a video circulated online showing how the driver of a ‘VAZ-2121’ model vehicle was driving while tying a dog to the car, demonstrating cruelty towards the animal. Thanks to the actions taken by the officers of the Armavir division of the community police, the identity of the driver has been established. On the same day, a 45-year-old man from the village of Artashat was discovered, arrested, and taken to the community police division of Armavir, where he confessed to the act. The vehicle has been moved to a secured area. The man and the documents have been presented to the investigative body,” the statement said.
