Third Person Arrested in Case of Child Molestation in Vedi

A third individual, identified as V.E., has been arrested for two months during the pre-trial investigation of the child molestation case in Vedi. This was reported to the media by the Investigative Committee.

It is recalled that criminal prosecution has been initiated against him under Article 201, Part 3, Paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code for committing an immoral act while being deprived of the opportunity to resist the offender or comprehend the nature of the actions being carried out against him.

Previously, it was reported that two individuals had already been arrested in connection with the sexual assault on underage sisters in Vedi. Both have been detained for two months.

The Prosecutor General's Office had previously announced that criminal prosecution has been initiated against A.E. under Article 198, Part 2, Paragraphs 2 and 4 of the Criminal Code for committing sexual acts against a minor in a vulnerable situation and against D.A. under Article 198, Part 2, Paragraphs 2 and 4 (in three instances).
