Meghri is the heart and soul of it, says Pashinyan

During his visit to Meghri, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan referred to the city as the heart and soul of the "Peace Crossroad" project. During a meeting with local residents on May 9, the head of government inquired about the changes in real estate prices in Meghri over the last nine months. In response, the community leader reported that prices have doubled during this period.

According to the Prime Minister, this indicates that Meghri not only believes in peace but is also itself a "Peace Crossroad." He stated, "I have come to congratulate all of us on this occasion because if Meghri is a 'Peace Crossroad,' then the Republic of Armenia is a 'Peace Crossroad.' Therefore, the Republic of Armenia is a crossroad of prosperity. The Republic of Armenia is a crossroad of freedom, prosperity, and work."

Pashinyan also expressed his belief that Meghri's attractiveness will continue to grow. The head of the executive power voiced confidence that concrete steps would be taken toward the construction of a railway by the end of the year, which would lead to the creation of numerous new jobs in the community.
