VIDEO: We Are Not Allies of Russia on the Issue of Ukraine – Nikol Pashinyan
Nikol Pashinyan addressed the visit of the Ukrainian President during a press conference. In response to the observation that Zelensky's visit to Yerevan was perceived as an anti-Russian move, he stated, “I have previously made statements on this topic. We have sent humanitarian aid to Ukraine, and I have said back in 2022 or 2023 that on the issue of Ukraine, we are not allies of Russia.”
Pashinyan also recalled the significance of the Alma-Ata Declaration: “The Alma-Ata Declaration is important and principled for us, and we rely on the Alma-Ata Declaration, and it is on this basis that we have built and are building peace with Azerbaijan,” Pashinyan noted.
It should be reminded that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited Yerevan on May 4 to participate in the 8th summit of the European Political Community.
