Video: Controversial New Recording Regarding 'Strong Armenia'
The Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia has revealed instances of vote buying and hindrance to the free exercise of electoral rights during the ongoing criminal proceedings.
Specifically, the officers of the Anti-Corruption Committee, in cooperation with the staff of the Police of the Syunik province, obtained factual data about a businessman of Armenian descent living in Orenburg, Russia. This individual allegedly organized the promise of bribes to several voters in exchange for voting for the 'Strong Armenia' party in the upcoming National Assembly elections scheduled for June 7, 2026. The promised bribes included the waiver of part of debts and job offers.
In addition, these individuals attempted to impede several residents of the Sisian community in Syunik from freely exercising their electoral rights, which manifested through threats of violence against them.
A criminal case has been initiated by the Anti-Corruption Committee, resulting in the arrest of several individuals, along with searches and other procedural actions.
The Anti-Corruption Committee urges all citizens who have information about offers of bribes or other legal violations, including anonymously, to immediately contact the Committee, assuring that the confidentiality of the citizen’s data is guaranteed by law.
