Narek Mkrtchyan Becomes Runner-Up at Youth World Championships

Narek Mkrtchyan has been crowned runner-up at the Youth World Championships. On the competition's latest day in Egypt, the 79 kg weight category weightlifters took to the stage.

Representing Armenia, Narek Mkrtchyan successfully lifted 145 kg and 150 kg in the snatch. In the clean and jerk, he managed to hold 182 kg and 186 kg overhead, securing third place in this event.

With a total lift of 336 kg, Narek Mkrtchyan finished as the runner-up at the World Championships.
