French Reaction to Macron Singing and Petting Dogs
French President Emmanuel Macron should be focused on solving the republic's issues rather than singing songs with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. This was stated by Florian Philippot, leader of the French party "Les Patriotes," on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
He declared that Macron is neglecting his country's citizens. "After running and petting homeless dogs yesterday, today Macron is singing with great inspiration. Meanwhile, tens of millions of French citizens would like to see measures taken to lower fuel prices," the politician noted.
The European Political Community (EPC) summit is taking place in Yerevan from May 4 to 5, with the French President among the participants. During a state dinner, Emmanuel Macron performed the famous song 'La Bohème' by legendary singer Charles Aznavour. Simultaneously, Nikol Pashinyan accompanied him on drums, while Armenian musician Vahagn Hayrapetyan played the piano. Other guests, including Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan, watched the performance from the side.
