Agreements Signed Between Armenia and the EU

The first summit between Armenia and the EU marked a historic milestone in the relations between the two parties.

As a result of the first Armenia-EU summit, several agreements were signed. The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, President of the European Council Charles Michel, and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.

The signing of the partnership agreement aimed at enhancing connectivity between Armenia and the EU was conducted on behalf of the Republic of Armenia and the EU by Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan and Director Adrien Kirel of the European Commission’s Directorate for Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhood.

Armenia's Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sarkisyan and Executive Director of the European Border and Coast Guard Agency Hans Leijtens initialed the working agreement documents on operational cooperation between the Republic of Armenia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and the European Border and Coast Guard Agency.

In order to support calls for investment interest in Armenia, the EU handed over six letters of intent to key Armenian companies and foundations.
