Turkish Vice President's Visit to Armenia Holds Significant Importance: Pashinyan
The Armenian Government has shared details from the meeting between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the Vice President of the Republic of Turkey, Cevdet Yılmaz. The Prime Minister welcomed the Turkish Vice President's visit to Armenia, stating that it holds significant importance for the relations between the two countries.
Cevdet Yılmaz, in turn, expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and the invitation to participate in the summit. The interlocutors discussed issues related to the normalization process between Armenia and Turkey and the implementation of the agreements reached.
It is noteworthy that as a result of the meeting, a memorandum on the joint restoration of the historic Ani Bridge (on the Silk Road) located on the border between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Turkey was signed. On behalf of the Republic of Armenia, it was signed by Ruben Rubinyan, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly and Special Representative for the Armenia-Turkey normalization process. On behalf of the Republic of Turkey, it was signed by Ambassador Serdar Kılıç, the Special Representative for the Turkey-Armenia normalization process.
