US Announces New Ceasefire Deadline with Iran: Ynet
US President Donald Trump has decided to extend the ceasefire regime with Iran until April 26. This was reported by Ynet.
The White House has already informed the Israeli side about the extension of the ceasefire deadline with Iran.
According to sources from Ynet, President Trump announced this decision on April 21. This came after official Tehran ignored talks scheduled in Pakistan and failed to respond to US demands in any form.
It is noted that the White House has not publicly specified a definite end date; Presidential Press Secretary Caroline Levitt indicated that Trump has not set specific timelines. According to her, the president is maintaining the ceasefire regime by "nobly offering some flexibility to a regime that is completely devastated."
Currently, Washington is awaiting Iran's response to US proposals. Levitt noted that there is a significant internal rift in Tehran, while the US president wants to receive a unified response.
