Nikol Pashinyan condemns burning of Turkish flag

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, considers the burning of the Turkish flag by participants of the torchlight march organized by the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) in Yerevan on April 23, the eve of the Armenian Genocide commemorations, to be a provocative act that incites tension.

This was stated by the Prime Minister's spokesperson, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, in response to a question from Armenpress. “Prime Minister Pashinyan condemns such actions, assessing them as irresponsible and unacceptable. The burning of a flag of a recognized state, particularly that of a neighboring country, cannot be justified in any way by the head of state. This is clearly a provocative act that incites tension,” said the spokesperson.
