Edmon Marukyan: Macron's Role in the Artsakh Conflict Cannot Be Denied

"The role of Macron in the Artsakh conflict cannot be denied, and unfounded accusations against him should not be made," wrote Edmon Marukyan, the head of the Bright Armenia Party, on his Telegram channel.

"During the 2020 war, the President of France was constantly calling Putin to achieve a ceasefire. He initiated a session of the UN Security Council regarding the ethnic cleansing occurring in Artsakh in 2023. The Armenian side has consistently received what it asked for from Paris. The issue was not France, but Yerevan's inconsistency; the Armenian side periodically changed its position, undermining the efforts of its partners," Marukyan stated.
