US Embassy in Armenia Issues Statement

The US Embassy in Armenia has released information regarding immigrant visas.

"After becoming a US citizen, you must present proof of your citizenship to the National Visa Center (NVC) to update your family member's visa category. Your spouse's visa type may change from F2A to IR1/CR1 (immediate relative). Since there are no annual numerical limitations on visas for immediate relatives, this change may reduce the overall waiting time," the statement reads.
