Russian Authorities Reopen Investigation into Man's Death from 'Jermuk' Mineral Water

The Investigative Committee of Russia's North Ossetia region has reopened an investigation into the death of a 65-year-old man, which occurred after consuming 'Jermuk' mineral water. This was reported by Lenta.
The criminal case was initiated on charges of providing services that did not comply with safety requirements, which inadvertently led to a person's death. The inquiry has resumed due to newly emerged circumstances.
According to the agency's data, on February 11, 2024, the victim consumed 'Jermuk' mineral water purchased from a retail outlet in Vladikavkaz, after which his condition sharply deteriorated. He was hospitalized, but despite the medical assistance provided, doctors were unable to save his life.
