Has a Charge Been Filed Against the Biological Mother of the Deceased 1-Year-Old?

In Yerevan, in connection with the death of 1-year-old 2-month-old Alex, only the woman accused of committing violence against the child and murder is currently in custody. The tragic incident, which occurred more than a month ago, has led to the initiation of two separate criminal proceedings related to the murder as well as the failure to fulfill or inadequately fulfill parental duties, which have now been combined into a single case.

The Investigative Committee has informed NEWS.am that currently the only person in custody is the woman who has been charged with the murder of the 1-year-old child. The case is still in the preliminary investigation phase.
