New Details on Trump Assassination Attempt

Cole Thomas Allen, the individual accused of attempting to assassinate President Donald Trump, took a selfie in his hotel room at the Washington Hilton just half an hour before the shooting.

According to the New York Post, the suspect posed for the photo 30 minutes prior to the incident during a banquet held at the Washington Hilton. Journalistic analysis indicates that in the photo, Allen, dressed in a black suit and red tie, was in possession of two types of firearms, ammunition, several knives, as well as a loaded firearm and a flathead screwdriver.

The shooting, which occurred on April 25 during a reception for White House correspondents at the aforementioned hotel, did not injure any members of the U.S. administration; however, a security officer was wounded. Cole Thomas Allen has been charged with three counts.
