Call for Caution from Iran: The Conflict with the USA and Israel is Not Over

Tehran is calling for vigilance and highlighting the need to eliminate risks to national security. Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Seyed Khatibzadeh has emphasized that the Islamic Republic's conflict with the USA and Israel has not yet concluded. According to the diplomat, the country will maintain high readiness and a defensive posture in all directions.

Ensuring its own security is a priority for Tehran, and it does not intend to take risks until guarantees of peace are established across all fronts. The Foreign Ministry representative noted that the government's aim is to prevent aggression and thwart the United States from achieving its political objectives within the country.

Khatibzadeh asserted that efforts should now focus on achieving a definitive end to the war and addressing its root causes. He also pointed to the proposals presented by Iran during negotiations in Islamabad.

It is important to mention that military operations involving the USA and Israel against Iran commenced on February 28. Despite a two-week ceasefire announced in early April and Washington's intention to extend it, Iran does not accept unilateral decisions. Tehran has stressed that it will be guided solely by its own interests, as no agreement has been reached between the parties for a long-term resolution of the conflict during the Islamabad meeting.
