Trump's Portrait to Appear on New U.S. Passports, Reports Say

The U.S. Department of State is finalizing the design of new American passports, which will feature a portrait of the country's leader, Donald Trump. The redesign of American passports is part of the celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence.

Additionally, the Department of the Treasury plans to release one-dollar coins bearing Trump's image and a large commemorative gold coin. At the same time, the National Park Service has already placed the president's photo on park passports.

According to preliminary designs, the inner part of the document's cover will feature a stark portrait of Donald Trump taken from his second inauguration ceremony, along with his golden signature. “A more traditional patriotic image, a segment from John Trumbull's ‘Declaration of Independence’ painting, is located on the back cover,” reports the portal.
