Bangladeshi Nationals Who Violated the Border Will Be Convicted and Deported from Armenia

Three citizens of Bangladesh attempted to unlawfully enter Georgia through a restricted area designated for citizens, in the Shirak region, under the protection of the Border Forces of the National Security Service (NSS). According to Auroranews, based on the 'Datalex' information system, they intended to cross the state border of the Republic of Armenia without proper permission and necessary documentation, bypassing the established checkpoints.

The incident was recorded on February 24 of this year. The NSS border guards discovered Murad Hossaini, Shakil Khan, and Razib Ahmed Khan and prevented the commission of the crime.

The Shirak Regional Court, presided over by Judge Varsenik Melkonyan, found the Bangladeshi nationals guilty. Despite the defendants admitting their guilt, the court concluded that this circumstance alone was insufficient to achieve the objectives of punishment under Article 55 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. According to the court's ruling, to fulfill the purposes of punishment, Murad Hossaini, Shakil Khan, and Razib Khan must serve the imposed sentence. Additionally, as a supplementary punishment, they will be deported from the territory of the Republic of Armenia to the People's Republic of Bangladesh for a period of five years.
