Ukraine’s Zelensky: Russia Needs Ukrainian Territory to Conquer Other Countries

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky believes that Russia’s interest in Ukrainian territory is driven by its ambitions to conquer other countries in the future.

According to Zelensky, if Russia succeeds in such actions against one neighboring state, it will likely repeat the same pattern with others. He has pointed out that Russia has already acted on this principle by annexing parts of Moldova, sections of Georgia, occupying Crimea and Donetsk, subjugating Belarus, and initiating a large-scale war against Ukraine.
