Details Revealed on Putin and Araqchi's Discussions
Russian President Vladimir Putin held negotiations with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi in St. Petersburg, focusing on establishing stability in Western Asia.
During the meeting, Putin emphasized that Moscow is prepared to invest all necessary efforts in alignment with the interests of Iran and other regional states to achieve peace in Western Asia as swiftly as possible.
The Russian President also conveyed a message from Iran's Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, wishing him well.
Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi expressed gratitude to the Russian side for the support provided to Tehran. He highly praised the level of relations between the two countries and reaffirmed their readiness to strengthen these ties further.
The negotiations also included several Russian officials, such as Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, and Chief of the General Staff Igor Kostyukov. The Iranian delegation comprised Deputy Minister Kazem Gharib Abadi and Iran's Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali.
