VIDEO. That Refusal Was Pashinyan's Greatest Crime - Levon Zurabyan
“When Pashinyan was still in opposition, he even accused us of insisting on a compromise solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, claiming that we were supposedly plotting with Serzh Sargsyan and wanted to go for compromises. He insisted that there could be no talk of compromises at all,” wrote Levon Zurabyan, Vice President of the Heritage Party, alongside a video posted on his Facebook page.
“But when he came to power, he became even more radical and militant, even speaking about the Treaty of Sevres, which no one had ever done before. But the greatest crime was the rejection of the peaceful resolution plan for the Nagorno-Karabakh issue in 2019. When that plan was sent to him by the co-chairman countries of the OSCE Minsk Group, he didn’t even send an official response to France, America, and Russia, which were the main mediators and essentially guaranteed the ceasefire. Pashinyan rejected negotiations and went for provocation, and the three superpowers were already powerless to restrain Azerbaijan, as the latter gained a legitimate right to launch an attack,” Zurabyan stated.
