After a press conference in Berlin, paint was thrown on Reza Pahlavi, son of the last Shah of Iran. The incident occurred following Pahlavi's criticism of the agreement between Iran and the United States regarding a ceasefire during the press conference. The son of the last Shah emphasized that relying on the "sudden pragmatism" of the Iranian leadership is a mistake. He stated, "I do not see that happening. Diplomacy has already been given enough chances." At the same time, he added that diplomacy should still be given an opportunity.

Moreover, Pahlavi reported that 19 political prisoners have been executed in Iran in the past two weeks, and nearly 20 others have received death sentences. "Will the free world take any action, or will it remain silent?" he questioned.

Following the incident, Pahlavi greeted his supporters and left the site by car. The police have detained the alleged assailant.
