Video: A New Biometric System for Identification Documents to be Implemented in Armenia

Changes are planned to eliminate all the deformations that have plagued identification documents for years, including the process of obtaining a passport and other components. This was stated by Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan during a government meeting.

"The implementation of a new biometric system in Armenia is expected with all its infrastructure, in accordance with high standards," Sargsyan noted.
