Photos: Operations of the 'Kamandcha' Restaurant Boiler Room Suspended by Environmental Inspectorate

The operations of the boiler room at the 'Kamandcha' restaurant, located in downtown Yerevan, have been suspended. This information was reported by the Environmental and Mining Inspectorate.

„As a result of inspections carried out by the staff of the Environmental and Mining Inspectorate, violations were revealed at the 'ARMAT GASTRO GROUP' LLC located at 23/1 Tumanyan Street in Yerevan ('Kamandcha' restaurant).

The company operated the boiler room without the necessary permit for emissions of harmful substances from stationary sources into the atmosphere.

According to the decision of the head of the territorial department of the inspectorate, the illegal operation of all 3 boilers of the boiler room has been suspended.

An administrative fine has been imposed on the company's director. A demand for compensation for the damage caused to the environment has also been presented,” the statement read.
