Veolia Water Should Be Sued, Of Course If We Don't Remain Silent: P'arandzem Voskanian
"Let's say how long we stay silent and why the state might intervene?" This was stated by P'arandzem Voskanian, the head-director of the Respiratory Center in Abovyan, on her Facebook page.
“An entire city has been poisoned by drinking water, including my family. The irresponsible organization Veolia water claims that no irregularities have been found. Are you serious? Over 200 calls have been made, and people have been hospitalized to the extent that there is no room in the Abovyan hospital; they are being taken to Hrazdan and Yerevan. The health of so many people and the stress it has caused mean nothing? This is a new way of escaping responsibility; first, that laboratory should be shut down for providing such conclusions. So who will compensate, and who will be held accountable for the health of so many people? Public pressure is an effective tool; Veolia water must be sued, of course if we don't remain silent,” she wrote.
