Emergency Situation in Byureghavan: Residents Seek Medical Help with Poisoning Symptoms

Auroranews.am has received multiple reports from the town of Byureghavan in the Kotayk region. Residents claim there is a serious issue related to drinking water, stating that sewer pipes have burst, leading to contamination of the drinking water.

Many citizens have sought medical attention at the polyclinic, presenting similar complaints of nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and elevated temperature.

Auroranews.am contacted the local medical facility, where they informed us that citizens are coming in with various complaints, including vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, and fever. 'Currently, necessary medical assistance is being provided to the citizens,' they stated.

Auroranews.am also reached out to the Ministry of Health. According to the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, there have been emergency calls from the mentioned community regarding general weakness, vomiting, and fever complaints. An epidemiological investigation and sampling have been conducted urgently by specialists from the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention. This process is ongoing, and additional information about the results will be provided. There are currently no serious cases,' said the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health.
