11 Citizens Hospitalized: New Details on Poisoning Incidents in Byureghavan
Cases of gastrointestinal infectious diseases have been reported in the Byureghavan community, currently under the attention of relevant professional authorities. This information was announced by the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
“The total number of emergency reports received is approximately 30. At present, 11 citizens have been hospitalized, and their health condition is assessed to be moderate. There are also individuals receiving treatment at home. The recorded clinical symptoms include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, and elevated body temperature, which are characteristic of gastrointestinal infections.
Specialists from the National Center for Disease Control of the Ministry of Health of Armenia are continuing epidemiological comprehensive studies aimed at identifying possible sources and pathways of infection transmission. In this context, water sampling has also been conducted for laboratory examination,” the announcement states.
