US Delegation Heads to Iran Talks, Trump
President Donald Trump has announced that a high-level American delegation will soon arrive in Pakistan to participate in peace negotiations with Iran. In an interview with The New York Post, the President confirmed that the delegation, led by Vice President J.D. Vance, Steve Mnuchin, and Jared Kushner, is already en route to Islamabad. The American side is expected to be in Pakistan shortly to initiate discussions with Iran.
Trump expressed optimism about the potential for productive negotiations, noting that he is prepared to personally meet with Iranian leaders if significant progress is made. The President emphasized that Iran's primary and non-negotiable demand remains the complete abandonment of nuclear weapons.
“We need to negotiate... So I assume that at this point no one is playing games,” stated Donald Trump.
