Tehran Reports on Injury Sustained by Khamenei
The new Supreme Leader of Iran, Mojtaba Khamenei, has sustained a minor injury to his leg due to airstrikes carried out by the US and Israel targeting his residence.
Iranian official Azim Ebrahimpour stated that Khamenei was present in the complex at the time of the attack and was lightly injured by the shockwave from one of the missile explosions. He emphasized that reports of other injuries are false.
It's worth noting that Mojtaba Khamenei was injured on the first day of the US and Israeli strikes, during which time his father passed away. His absence in society and in media reports is attributed both to his injury and the risks of revealing his whereabouts.
