Iran's Armed Forces Launch Counterstrikes

The Iranian side has targeted several American military vessels using drones in response to the detention of an Iranian ship. This was reported by Tasnim.

Following an attack by Americans on the Iranian vessel, the Iranian armed forces retaliated with strikes from UAVs on certain U.S. military ships. The publication notes that Iran had previously warned of mirroring any actions taken by the American side.

Prior to these events, the U.S. had seized an Iranian cargo ship in the Gulf of Oman.
