Deadline for US-Iran Ceasefire Approaches: Trump Makes a Decision
Ani S.
US President Donald Trump has indicated that the temporary ceasefire agreement with Iran, which expires tomorrow, is unlikely to be extended. In an interview with Bloomberg, Trump stated that the chance of extending the document is extremely low.
He emphasized that he cannot be compelled to sign a 'bad deal' with Tehran. Trump also noted that the United States will not lift sanctions on Iran until a peace agreement is reached.
In an interview with the BBC today, Trump announced that if the agreement is not extended, Washington will use 'a lot of bombs' against Iran.
