Diver Involved in Nord Stream Pipeline Sabotage Identified as Former Model

In September 2022, among the divers who carried out the sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines was a well-known former model named Freya. According to Boyan Panchevski, a correspondent for The Wall Street Journal, referencing details from BILD, the diver who detonated the Nord Stream was a former model named Freya.

The journalist stated that he personally communicated with the perpetrators and organizers of the operation. They revealed that the operation was initiated by an elite Ukrainian unit involving civilian divers.

During a podcast with the editor-in-chief of BILD, Panchevski noted that Freya was the most daring participant in the group. Ukrainian special services valued her skills as she was capable of diving over 100 meters deep. According to the journalist, it was representatives of the special services who invited her to join the mission aimed at targeting sources of funding for Russia. When warned about the dangers involved, she reportedly asked, “Where do I sign?”

Panchevski also disclosed that Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky was informed about the sabotage plans for Nord Stream and personally gave his approval for the operation to be carried out.
