Zelensky Proposes Meeting with Putin
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sibiga has announced that Kyiv is willing to organize a meeting between President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian leader Vladimir Putin. Turkey is being considered as a potential venue for discussions, where the talks could take place in an expanded format.
According to the Ukrainian initiative, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and U.S. President Donald Trump could also be present at the meeting. The proposal regarding this format has already been sent to the Turkish side, based on Ankara's active involvement in peacekeeping efforts.
The Foreign Minister emphasized that Turkey plays a key role in the resolution of the conflict. Currently, Ukraine is awaiting responses from its partners in order to clarify the organizational aspects of the possible meeting. This step is viewed as another attempt to seek solutions on the diplomatic front.
