State Revenue Committee Reveals Volume of Goods Imported via Azerbaijan
The Customs Service of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia and the Ministry of Economy have published data regarding the volume of goods imported into Armenia from Russia and Kazakhstan via Azerbaijan between November 2025 and April 15, 2026. Additionally, statistics for imports from Azerbaijan into Armenia through Georgia have also been released.
In response to a query from Armenpress, officials from the State Revenue Committee and the Ministry of Economy stated that 26,295 tons of goods were brought into Armenia from Russia and Kazakhstan via Azerbaijan, while 9,337 tons of fuel were imported from Azerbaijan, highlighting that the outcomes of regional cooperation and peace establishment are already tangible, creating new opportunities for economic development.
According to the data from the Customs Service, goods entered Armenia for the first time by rail from the Republic of Azerbaijan on November 6, 2025. From Russia and Kazakhstan, 24,865 tons of wheat, 1,362 tons of fertilizers, and 68 tons of corn grits were imported. Meanwhile, from December 2025 to April 15, 2026, 9,337 tons of fuel of Azerbaijani origin were imported and registered in Armenia through Georgia by rail, with a total customs value of 7.2 million USD, which included 5,398 tons of diesel fuel valued at 4.3 million USD, and 3,939 tons of gasoline valued at 2.9 million USD, as noted by the authorities.
