Lebanon and Israel Reach Agreement, Trump
Donald Trump has announced a ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel for a duration of 10 days. The established ceasefire regime between Israel and Lebanon will come into effect at 01:00 Yerevan time.
U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he had effective discussions with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun. According to him, the leaders of both countries officially agreed to cease fire for 10 days, starting from 17:00 Eastern Time, with the goal of achieving peace.
Trump has tasked Vice President Jay D. Vence, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Daniel R. Casey with efforts to establish a lasting peace. The President added that this would be the 10th conflict he has resolved globally.
