Pashinyan's Statement on Relations with Russia
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, stated in the National Assembly that the Armenian-Russian relations are currently at the historically highest level.
During a Q&A session in Parliament, the head of the government urged to consider the dynamics of interactions between Armenia and Russia, comparing the frequency of meetings, phone calls, and mutual visits in previous periods.
According to the Prime Minister, those making provocative statements aim to paralyze the EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union). He reminded that Armenia is a member of the EAEU and one of the five decision-making countries.
Pashinyan noted that those resorting to provocations want to destroy the EAEU as an organization and added that it is better to keep the structure away from such actions. “I say, we have not quarreled with the Russian Federation and will not quarrel,” the Prime Minister emphasized.
