Turkey Opens the Door After Its Statements: Narek Karapetyan

In an interview with Anna Danielyan from the First News, Narek Karapetyan, a member of the 'Strong Armenia' party council, responded to a question regarding whether the statements by Russian officials about changes to our electoral code or Putin's remarks about the desire of pro-Russian forces to participate constitute external interference in our internal affairs. He countered with a question: 'What about the statement from the Turkish Ministry of Defense following the statement from our General Staff, when the Armenian general staff issued a statement related to the resignation of the government leader? How do you assess that? Is it interference in our internal affairs? Why are Turkish military officials getting involved in Armenian affairs and why are they providing support? Isn't that dubious? Who have you invited that has criticized that? Has there been any criticism in that direction in your studio up until now? We need to stop any interference from either side. Otherwise, Armenia will become the focal point of contradictions in the interests of regional countries. After Turkey's statements, Turkey is opening a door. But we need to reach a point where no country interferes in Armenia's internal affairs.'
