Tehran to Demand Compensation from the US and Allies
Iran intends to demand compensation from the US and its allies for damages incurred. If the US refuses, Iran will seek to obtain compensation by seizing American assets and properties. This was announced by the representative of Iran's Supreme Leader in India, Abdul Majid Hakim Ilahi, noting that this provision is included in the ceasefire plan.
According to him, one of the ten points proposed by Iran in the ceasefire relates to compensation, and it has been accepted by Washington. Ilahi emphasized that if the demands are not met, Tehran will resort to other means, including claims against US assets and property.
He noted that approximately 37,000 residential homes have been destroyed in Tehran alone. Numerous hospitals and universities have also been damaged, alongside reported civilian casualties. Ilahi stated that Iran is seeking compensation not only from the US and Israel but also from the countries that have supported their actions.
