It Is Known Who Will Compensate Iran's Damages

The compensation for Iran's losses is set to be realized through a newly established investment fund. According to the Fars news agency, the damages suffered by Iran during the conflict in the Persian Gulf will be compensated from a special investment fund that will be formed with the participation of interested financial institutions.

As per a source familiar with the complete text of the ceasefire conditions presented by Tehran, "The compensation for Iran's losses will be made through the establishment of an investment and financial foundation." Information about the structure and management of the fund has not yet been released.

It is also noted that Iran intends to direct a portion of the taxes collected from ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz towards the restoration projects of the damaged facilities during the conflict. According to the agency, the ceasefire conditions stipulate that Iran, alongside Oman, will have the right to impose taxes on the ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
