Landslide Occurs on the Aghveran-Arzakan Road

On April 10, at 14:01, the Kotayk regional emergency management center received a report that a landslide had occurred on the Aghveran-Arzakan highway at the 5th kilometer, resulting in debris covering the roadway.

A firefighting and rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a landslide of approximately 20 cubic meters had taken place, making the road one-way. Rescuers carried out emergency rockfall operations at dangerous sections, and the road was cleared with the help of a tractor provided by the Road Maintenance Department, restoring two-way traffic.
