When Will the Armenian-Turkish Border Reopen? A Turkish Official's Response

If peace is established between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the borders between Turkey and Armenia will also open. This statement was made by Shamil Ayrim, the head of the Turkey-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Friendship Group, during a joint meeting of working groups from the parliaments of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in the Milli Majlis.

Ayrim emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation in education, energy, security, and culture among Turkic states. He also highlighted that interparliamentary cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan holds strategic significance both regionally and within the Turkic world.
