Little Group Disgraced in Moscow: Samvel Karapetyan

Candidate for Prime Minister from the "Strong Armenia" party, Samvel Karapetyan, has sent a message via his Facebook page. He also referred to Nikol Pashinyan's visit to Moscow.

"It is now clear that the economic war unleashed with Russia because of Pashinyan in July, is tied to the changes we will bring to Armenia in June. Frankly, I am angry at the behavior of the leader of the little group. They have disgraced themselves in Moscow. But what is worse is that they have systematically transformed our country into a battleground for geopolitical confrontation.

Why attempt to remove our friendly Russia from our region? Its presence has never hindered our cooperation or trade with other power centers. And I am confident it will not hinder it in the future either. Simply put, both common sense and what is referred to in the popular language is needed. Moreover, one must just be reasonable.

Our deepest economic ties are with Russia. It is Russia that supplies us with cheap gas, gladly accepts our seasonal workers, and purchases a significant portion of our agricultural products. And if it stops all this, what will you say to our people, who will become poorer?

However, today’s Prime Minister does not care about the fate of our compatriots or the contents of their pockets and refrigerators. What matters is that he can remain in power by scaring people with false wars for the sake of his own prosperity. Of course, he will not remain in power. We will remove the little group and foster friendships with all the countries in the region, with all power centers.

We saw what happened with Georgia and Ukraine. We do not need new wars.

By voting for Nikol, you will receive poverty and animosity with the Russians, polarization, and economic collapse. Trust us, and we will have real change—a strong economy, unity, and lasting peace. It is time for a strong Armenia!"
