Iran Will No Longer Show Restraint, IRGC Says
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran has declared that it will no longer show restraint and will target the energy infrastructure of the United States and its allies in the Middle East.
According to the IRGC's press service, this decision is prompted by attacks on Iran's energy facilities by the U.S. and Israel. "Patience has run out. We will strike the infrastructure of the United States and its allies in such a way that they will be deprived of regional oil and gas for many years," the announcement states.
The Corps also highlighted that the restraint shown in choosing targets until now was due to friendly relations and certain limitations. However, according to the military organization, all such limitations have now been lifted.
The IRGC warned that regional partners of the U.S. should also take this change into account, as future retaliatory actions may also target their infrastructures.
