Italy Does Not Support War Against Iran, Defense Minister Says
Italy's Defense Minister Guido Crosetto has stated that his country does not support a war against Iran. "We do not support war against Iran, and no one has asked for our opinion... The duration of wars depends not on the strength of the stronger, but on the resilience of the weaker. Iran is larger than Ukraine; it has a larger population and a millennia-old history," he wrote.
It was reported earlier that Spain has banned the use of its airspace for aircraft involved in military operations against Iran.
As a reminder, since February 28, the United States and Israel have been launching strikes on Iranian territory, resulting in destruction and human casualties. In response, Iran has been targeting Israel and U.S. military bases in the region with missile strikes. Notably, during the attacks by Israel and the U.S., Iran's spiritual leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other high-ranking officials were also killed.
