Tehran is Not Negotiating with Washington: Iranian Foreign Ministry

The Iranian Foreign Ministry has denied reports about negotiations with the United States, emphasizing that such communications have not taken place. Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baghaei stated that there have been no negotiations in the last 25 days, since the start of the "illegal war" against Iran.

Despite this, India Today reports that in response to Donald Trump's offer to resume negotiations, Iran has put forward a series of conditions ranging from the closure of American military bases in the Persian Gulf to the lifting of sanctions.

However, Ismail Baghaei stressed that past negotiation attempts with Washington had "disastrous consequences" for Iran, which is why Tehran is currently not considering such cooperation.

It is worth noting that there have been circulating reports in international media about potential communications between Iran and the USA.
