Our Policy is to Continue Resistance: Araghchi

The Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has stated that Tehran's current policy is to continue resistance amid the actions of the USA and Israel. He simultaneously ruled out the possibility of both negotiations and a ceasefire unless necessary guarantees are provided.

In a televised interview, Araghchi noted, "At this moment, our policy is to continue resistance, and there have been no negotiations." He also reiterated that no negotiations are currently taking place, casting doubt on the reliability of external guarantees.

According to Araghchi, while there have been diplomatic contacts with countries in the region, Iran's stance has not changed. He mentioned that foreign ministers from several countries have reached out to Tehran, but Iran’s approach has remained "principled and steadfast."

Addressing the mediation efforts of third countries, Araghchi stated that international guarantees are "not 100 percent reliable." He emphasized that Iran relies on the "internal guarantees" created through its own retaliatory actions to ensure that no one dares to start a war against the Iranian people.

Araghchi also pointed out that within the framework of Iran's retaliatory actions, the country's armed forces have launched dozens of attacks on sensitive and strategically significant targets of the USA and Israel in the region.
